Raw Leiba stays grounded while Bringing his seasoned experience with young ideals to Fox 43..

A new kind of owner..

Everyday Raw Leiba packs up his four dogs in his 2010 Ford Bronco and is off to places unknown.

“You know I’m always asked why I don’t buy a new car? “I always say because my old one works just fine so I really don’t see the point”.. “I’m not knocking people that like to drive around in fancy cars and show their wealth but it’s not how I choose to live, to each his own I guess but hey (NBA Superstar) Kawhi Leonard drives a 1997 Chevy Tahoe and he’s worth more than I am” Leiba points out,   So when he comes back home he goes to his local public gym and works out, sometimes going to another gym to play basketball with regular patrons he’s met there.. he regularly is greeted fondly and says hello to everyone as if he’s known them all his life “I can tell you this” says one gym goer who wants to remain anonymous “he is loved by everyone especially the kids”.

Then the very next minute Leiba is in a Zoom meeting with the corporate CEO, Hollywood celebrity or director in the gym parking lot!.

A far cry from what we would expect from an award-winning actor, director, producer, CEO and now reported minority owner of Fox 43 in York Pennsylvania..  After starring in movies and television shows grossing millions of dollars, Raw Leiba prefers to live quietly and under the radar in a home Bucks County Pennsylvania as well as a home in Broward County Florida.. You would not even know that this CEO/Entertainer has the likes of LeBron James, Sandra Bullock and Dwayne Johnson on speed dial as he likes to stay friendly with some of the people he’s worked with.

.Does the actor go on vacation?.. “I was very fortunate to have seen a lot of things in a lot of countries, I’m in a field that takes you around the world while you’re working so I’ve been a lot of places but most of the time I’m technically working”

With an estimated net worth of between 2 and $10 million dollars Raw Leiba has benefited from athletic talent and unusual looks coupled with genius financial moves.. he credits his success to not just participating but wanting to know more about people and how things run.

“I talk to everyone about themselves I hardly ever talk about me because to be honest I don’t think my story is as interesting as most people’s, I love to know what they do in their lives and businesses and how their lives and businesses operate , I do know that a lot of people are generally interested in what I do, but I find other people’s stories much more interesting than my own.

This new venture as minority owner of a television station is a challenging aspect for Leiba who has a sports as well as a media background working at both radio stations Z100 in K-Rock in New York and WWOR television  in New York as well as guest hosting BET’s Rap City in the 90s.

“I really don’t have any control over anything like programming or hiring (Tegna owns the majority of the station). I’m not the first celebrity that has done this. My influence in this regard is a guy named Byron Allen whom I admire a great deal I remember him starting out on a show called “Real People”  then when I saw him again he was buying The Weather Channel and Comedy Central”

“My hope is to work hard and possibly one day own the station or two outright

I want the public to benefit from solid news that they can trust as well as programming that will be entertaining to all”..

And as for that new car?.. Leiba jokes ”I don’t know, maybe I’ll move up to 2015 in about 5 years”.
