Alejandro Cardona – Creando Riqueza’s Seminar Shakes Up Hispanic Wealth

How Purpose, Mindset & Strategy Brought Alejandro Cardona to the Top of Financial Education

Many entrepreneurs and executives’ separate business from their spiritual lives. Yet, faith is always present in your presentations.

What role does faith play in wealth creation?

Alejandro Cardona:

It has everything to do with it. I wouldn’t be where I am today without God’s mercy and grace. There are moments of high uncertainty in business and financial markets; if you don’t have a spiritual anchor and the humility to recognize that wisdom comes from Above, emotions can destroy you. For me, wealth isn’t just a bank balance—it’s a blessing that must be managed with purpose.

Traditionally, in Hispanic culture, “hard work” is praised but “making your money work” is rarely discussed. What is the biggest mental barrier for Latinos regarding money?

Alejandro Cardona:

The biggest obstacle is the lack of strategic financial education. We were taught to trade time for money, but not to make money work for us as an asset that generates more money. While the Anglo-Saxon invests in stocks, real estate, and businesses from a young age, Latinos tend to leave their money in savings accounts, where inflation quietly destroys purchasing power.

Creating wealth requires learning to read markets, interpret charts, and seize opportunities when stocks are discounted.

There is a myth that you need to be very young or have lots of capital to start investing in the stock market. Is it too late for a professional who is 40, 50, or 60 years old?

Alejandro Cardona:

It’s never too late. In our Creando Riqueza Seminar, we have students of all ages, from young people to retirees. In fact, when we started our educational outreach, Hispanic participation in brokerage accounts was minimal; today, we represent a highly significant percentage of new investment accounts in the United States. Age is not a limitation when you have the discipline to learn and apply a proven technical methodology.

What personal financial architecture do you apply when your businesses or investments generate high returns?

Alejandro Cardona:

The secret lies in reinvestment and building a solid asset base. Many make the mistake of immediately increasing their lifestyle expenses after a good quarter or trade. My strategy is to take leftover cash flow and allocate it to the acquisition of more assets: income properties, defensive stocks, and new businesses. The luxuries and rewards come later, when the assets pay for your lifestyle.

Behind the big numbers and financial freedom, what has been the most rewarding achievement that financial success has brought you?

Alejandro Cardona:

Being able to provide peace of mind to my family. Years ago, I called my father and told him he’d never have to worry about finances again, that I would take care of absolutely everything. Allowing your parents to rest and your children to feel proud of the legacy you’re building is the real dividend of wealth.

We live in a world driven by image and ostentatious consumption on social media. In your experience, what are the things money can never buy?

Alejandro Cardona:

Money can buy assets, properties, and comforts, but it can’t buy reputation, character, peace of mind, or purpose. We’ve seen billionaire athletes, celebrities, and influencers lose it all for lack of emotional intelligence and prudence. The greatest wealth is the positive impact you leave on others’ lives.

For CEO TIMES readers looking to level up their mindset and finances this year, what are the three immediate actions they should take?

Alejandro Cardona:

Filter your environment: Stay away from social media noise, toxic content, and people with a scarcity mindset.

Constant learning: Invest in your mind. Start educating yourself about how markets work, real estate, and business structuring.

Mental reprogramming and focus: Use daily affirmation and visualization to maintain your focus on abundance, executing your plan with disciplined action day after day.
