Moonoon: The Man Who Turned Survival Into Legacy

A visionary entrepreneur, cancer warrior, and philanthropist whose rise from poverty to global impact is redefining leadership for a new generation.

Moonoon is proof that a human being can walk through fire and come out carrying light for others. An inspiring entrepreneur, cancer survivor, and philanthropist, he has turned life’s harshest trials into purpose, power, and service. His journey began far from boardrooms and accolades. Before he became one of the UAE’s most respected rising founders, before awards and recognition, he spent fifteen years working as a waiter and chef, holding onto one dream with unbreakable discipline. That dream would eventually evolve into a major catering and restaurant operation capable of feeding ten thousand people every single day. It was the foundation on which everything else in his life was built, and the first chapter in a story shaped by resilience and ambition.

Honored as Entrepreneur of the Year 2022 by the Lloyds Bank British Excellence Awards, and nominated for Small Business of the Year 2025, Moonoon’s rise in business has been anything but ordinary. But the true measure of his greatness came during the darkest fight of his life. Diagnosed with acute aggressive blood cancer and given a prognosis of two days to two weeks, he was placed in an immediate coma that lasted thirty-one days. The world expected his story to end. Instead, he wrote a new one.

Surviving cancer became the turning point that reshaped not just his mission, but his entire perspective. For him, life is a blessing, and every breath is a responsibility. The pain he endured became the compass guiding his purpose. While fighting his own battle, he stood side by side with his closest friend and created @JazzysGestures, a charity born from love and urgency, inspired by his niece Jasmine who is fighting liver cancer. The initiative supports young patients and their families, and has grown into a powerful movement of hope. Today, Moonoon also serves as an ambassador for multiple cancer and mental health charities, using his voice to uplift those who may feel unseen.

His entrepreneurial journey continues with the same devotion he brings to his humanitarian work. Together with his older brother, the man he proudly calls his rock, Joolhash Jawadin, he leads Jawadin Estates DXB and Qasr Al Jawad Real Estates LLC, a trusted property management group operating across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Built on integrity, excellence, and reliability, the company reflects Moonoon’s belief that leadership is a service to others.

His drive expands beyond business into the world of sport. With his brother Radian Jawadin, he owns @footballontrent, an FA England registered football club, shaping opportunities for athletes and turning passion into legacy. Each venture is a testament to the unshakable unity of the Jawadin family.

For Moonoon, success has never been about wealth or status. It is about gratitude. It is about honoring the people who carried him through storms. It is about rising so that others may rise with him. At the center of his journey stands family, his greatest strength and his eternal inspiration. And above all, his beloved mother, whose love shaped the man he is today.

From poverty to global achievement, from hospital beds to boardrooms, from near loss to limitless purpose, Moonoon shows that adversity does not define a life. How we rise from it does. His story is not just one of survival. It is one of transformation, leadership, and unwavering faith.
