Laimina Methuselha: Building Global Businesses, Empowering Women, Creating Impact Beyond Borders

From a newcomer’s courage to a global founder’s vision, Laimina Methuselha leads with purpose, resilience, and a mission to uplift women and businesses worldwide.

In today’s founder economy, impact is the new currency of success. Few leaders embody this truth as powerfully as Laimina Methuselha, CEO and Founder of Global Assist Inc and Founder of Rise Her Roadmap. Her journey is not defined by privilege or shortcuts, but by resilience, purpose, and a relentless commitment to lifting others as she rises.

A Journey Built from the Ground Up

Laimina arrived in Canada in 2019 as a newcomer with ambition but without financial backing, professional networks, or external support. What she did have was clarity of purpose and the courage to build from nothing. She immersed herself in learning, adapting, and creating opportunities where none existed.

In 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, she founded Global Assist Inc. as a solo venture. At a time when many businesses were struggling to survive, Laimina stepped in to support small and medium enterprises with virtual assistance, operations, and marketing services. With no investors and no safety net, she handled everything herself, from bookkeeping and client outreach to execution and strategy, earning trust one client at a time.

Scaling with Strategy, Heart, and Purpose

What began as a one woman operation has grown into a global company with more than 80 professionals worldwide, serving SMEs across multiple industries. Under Laimina’s leadership, Global Assist Inc. is known for its human centered, customized solutions. There is no one size fits all approach. Each client receives support aligned with their unique goals, challenges, and growth vision.

As the company scaled, Laimina recognized a deeper calling. She saw firsthand the systemic barriers faced by women entrepreneurs, especially immigrant and underrepresented women. This realization led to the creation of Rise Her Roadmap, a nonprofit dedicated to women’s empowerment.

Rise Her Roadmap exists to educate, mentor, and elevate women founders by providing foundational business support, visibility opportunities, community, and strategic guidance. At its core is Laimina’s belief that lack of resources should never limit potential, and that empowerment multiplies when knowledge and opportunity are shared.

Recognition and Community Impact

Laimina’s leadership has earned recognition within Canadian business communities, including honors such as Best Entrepreneur and Most Trusted Local Business in Montreal through Alignable. She is also a founding member of Immigrant Women in Business Canada, where she actively mentors and advocates for women building their entrepreneurial journeys.

Her impact extends far beyond titles and awards. Through her work, she has supported businesses globally, created employment opportunities, and enabled economic empowerment that crosses borders. The ripple effect of her leadership continues to grow with every entrepreneur and woman she supports.

Vision for the Future

For Laimina Methuselha, success is not measured by revenue alone. Her vision is rooted in building sustainable ecosystems, long term impact, and a legacy of empowerment. She is focused on expanding Global Assist Inc. into new markets while scaling Rise Her Roadmap into a globally recognized nonprofit for women entrepreneurs.

As she often says, “Success isn’t measured by how far you go alone, but by how many you lift along the way.”

Through Global Assist Inc. and Rise Her Roadmap, Laimina Methuselha continues to transform challenges into opportunity, setting a new standard for founder led leadership in the modern era.
