For Rachna Sharma, true leadership is measured by ideas that can shape humanity’s future. As the Founder and President of Phuro Innovations, she has dedicated her work to developing strategic frameworks that bridge environmental sustainability, international public policy, governance, and global leadership.

After her commercial success at a young age working with internationally renowned elite hospitality brands including Taj Hotels, Hilton Worldwide, The Imperial, and Lebua Hotels & Resorts, Rachna pondered existential questions: What is the purpose of my life? Why am I so successful even when everyone around me works hard ? What am I supposed to be in the next stage of life? She walked away from executive success to pursue a mission driven by purpose rather than profit and enrolled at Harvard Business School to reflect on her life. Restarting from the ground up, she established Phuro Innovations, entering a new industry and created an international online platform focused on solving some of the world’s most pressing challenges through strategic thinking, research, and policy innovation.
At the center of her work is a groundbreaking philosophy known as “Violation of the Natural Law,” ecological peace framework based upon the “five elements of life”; a new school of thought that examines the relationship between ecological sustainability, energy transition, policy governance, and leadership. Designed for decision-makers across government and academia, this accessible framework urges leaders to confront how past policies have disrupted the natural carbon cycle. Beyond diagnosing the problem, it delivers clear, actionable recommendations to mitigate further harm. It presents a roadmap to establish the Natural Law Audit as a global policy framework and promotes the Phuro Innovations Research Book as a mandatory desktop guide to prevent repeating history’s mistakes.

Her research has been digitally shared with more than 400 United Nations-accredited intergovernmental organizations, members of the G4 and G7, G20, Prime Minister’s Offices, COP29, the University of Notre Dame, and numerous international platforms. Through this work, Rachna has become a voice of the global south which cannot be ignored. Her research work is on the Phuro Innovations website under “Ecological Peace Profile,” in addition to her work on “Political & Social Peace frameworks & recommendations”. No study of this nature has previously been undertaken at the international level for the Global South.
Around the world, studies are first conducted to establish a solid foundation for policies. Rachna’s organization has started a trend worth following; defining it as the essential foundation for protecting humanity and ensuring the long-term survival of our planet. Her philosophy argues that sustainable peace cannot exist without ecological & political balance, making environmental responsibility a central pillar of future global leadership.
Her commitment to climate action gained international recognition through her participation as a Non-Stakeholder Observer at COP29, where she introduced her Strategic Focus: Ecological Peace framework. Her work also received international media attention with live national television coverage in Azerbaijan, highlighting her engagement with heads of state delegations and international leaders during the global climate summit.

Rachna’s academic and strategic contributions continue to receive international recognition. Her pioneering work on the Natural Law of Five Elements was accepted for discussion and farmework summary at the University of Notre Dame, while her knowledge partnership with En-Roads, part of the MIT Sloan Sustainability Initiative, has strengthened efforts toward evidence-based climate modeling and carbon transition strategies with the latest available science.
In 2023, she also led India’s first large-scale national knowledge graph on Green Hydrogen, developed in knowledge partnership with Enel Advisory and Avaada Group, reinforcing her position as a thought leader in clean energy, energy transition, and sustainable innovation.
To be a World Peace Leader and define “Ecological/Environmental leadership” as Key to balance in the world, Rachna possessed multidisciplinary expertise spanning globalization & international relations, world politics, artificial intelligence, nuclear disarmament, international development & European Union, rocket science, outer space governance, and moral foundations of politics. Her continuous pursuit of knowledge includes advanced studies from globally respected institutions including Harvard Business School, Yale, DeepLearning.AI, Grenoble École de Management, the Higher School of Economics, and the European School of Leadership and Development.

Her leadership journey also includes serving as the Founding Chairperson and Co-Chair India of Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs, where she played a key role in establishing the organization in India. During her tenure, the community received Harvard University President Lawrence Bacow’s Outstanding Community Award, recognizing it among Harvard’s most impactful global alumni organizations.
Earlier in her career, Rachna worked with the Office of a Member of Parliament, BJP in India’s Lok Sabha, gaining valuable insights into indian Politics and gaps that exist—factors which lead to short-term decision-making to solve problems due to lack of reserach & development in a particualr field. She also served on the Board of Advisors of the Gift Foundation, working alongside initiatives connected to globally respected leadership advisor Sam Beard, whose decades of service included advising eight Presidents of the United States
Her work has earned numerous recognitions, including a nomination at the House of Commons, United Kingdom, for Most Promising Political Thought Leadership for South Asia, as well as a nomination for the Human Rights Commission of the United Nations Honorary Ambassador Award for her contributions to world peace and social service. She has also been awarded as a LinkedIn Social Impact Voice for her thought leadership in 2018.
Rachna is also the author of the strategic publications Earth’s Heartbeat, Violation of the Natural Law, and Strategic Focus: Ecological Peace, each contributing to global conversations surrounding sustainability, leadership, and environmental governance.

Today, as Founder and President of Phuro Innovations, Rachna Sharma continues to work online with intergovernmental organizations, International academic institutions, intellectual platforms, & corporations, navigating an increasingly complex world through strategic thinking, sustainable innovation, and purpose-driven leadership.
Rachna Sharma quotes that the “future of leadership will not be defined solely by economic growth or technological advancement, but by the ability to protect humanity’s greatest asset: the planet itself,
She says, “I want to see a world where ecological peace becomes the foundation for world peace & we can start by founding a dedicated intergovernmental organization run by Phuro Innovations for the Himalayan region.” No one loves the Himalayas more than I do, for sure.
