Leadership is often measured by the organizations we build or the positions we hold. For Rachna Sharma, true leadership is measured by the ideas that have the power to shape the future of humanity. As the Founder and President of Phuro Innovations, she has dedicated her work to developing strategic frameworks that bridge environmental sustainability, public policy, governance, and global leadership.

After a successful corporate career working with internationally renowned hospitality brands including Taj Hotels, Hilton, The Imperial, and Lebua, Rachna made a life-changing decision. She walked away from executive success to pursue a mission driven by purpose rather than profit. Starting from the ground up, she established Phuro Innovations, creating a platform focused on solving some of the world’s most pressing challenges through strategic thinking, research, and policy innovation.

At the center of her work is a groundbreaking philosophy known as “Violation of the Natural Law,” a new school of thought that examines the relationship between ecological sustainability, energy transition, governance, and leadership. Written in accessible language, the framework encourages governments, institutions, and decision-makers to rethink how humanity interacts with nature while creating policies capable of securing the future of both people and the planet.

Her research has been shared with more than 400 United Nations-accredited intergovernmental organizations, members of the G4 and G7, Prime Minister’s Offices, COP29, the University of Notre Dame, and numerous international platforms. Through this work, Rachna has become a respected voice in discussions surrounding environmental stewardship and long-term global resilience.

Passionate about creating lasting peace, she has introduced the concept of Ecological Peace, defining it as the essential foundation for protecting humanity and ensuring the long-term survival of our planet. Her philosophy argues that sustainable peace cannot exist without ecological balance, making environmental responsibility a central pillar of future global leadership.

Her commitment to climate action gained international recognition through her participation as a Non-Stakeholder Observer at COP29, where she introduced her Strategic Focus: Ecological Peace framework. Her work also received international media attention with live national television coverage in Azerbaijan, highlighting her engagement with heads of state and international delegations during the global climate summit.

Rachna’s academic and strategic contributions continue to receive international recognition. Her pioneering work on the Natural Law of Five Elements has been accepted for discussion and data summary at the University of Notre Dame, while her collaboration with En-Roads, part of the MIT Sloan Sustainability Initiative, has strengthened efforts toward evidence-based climate modeling and carbon transition strategies.

In 2023, she also led India’s first large-scale national knowledge graph on Green Hydrogen, developed in collaboration with Enel Advisory and Avaada Group, reinforcing her position as a thought leader in clean energy, energy transition, and sustainable innovation.

Her leadership journey also includes serving as the Founding Chairperson and Co-Chair India of Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs, where she played a key role in establishing the organization in India. During her tenure, the community received Harvard University President Lawrence Bacow’s Outstanding Community Award, recognizing it among Harvard’s most impactful global alumni organizations.

Earlier in her career, Rachna worked with the Office of a Member of Parliament in India’s Lok Sabha, gaining valuable insights into governance, policymaking, and long-term national development. She also served on the Board of Advisors of the Gift Foundation, working alongside initiatives connected to globally respected leadership advisor Sam Beard, whose decades of service included advising multiple Presidents of the United States.

Her work has earned numerous recognitions, including a nomination at the House of Commons, United Kingdom, for Most Promising Political Thought Leadership for South Asia, as well as a nomination for the Human Rights Commission of the United Nations Honorary Ambassador Award for her contributions to world peace and social service. She has also been recognized as a LinkedIn Social Impact Voice for her thought leadership.

Rachna is also the author of the strategic publications Earth’s HeartbeatViolation of the Natural Law, and Strategic Focus: Ecological Peace, each contributing to global conversations surrounding sustainability, leadership, and environmental governance.

Today, as Founder and President of Phuro Innovations, Rachna Sharma continues to work with governments, institutions, corporations, and international organizations, helping leaders navigate an increasingly complex world through strategic thinking, sustainable innovation, and purpose-driven leadership.

Her journey reflects a powerful belief that the future of leadership will not be defined solely by economic growth or technological advancement, but by the ability to protect humanity’s greatest asset: the planet itself. Through research, policy innovation, and global collaboration, Rachna Sharma is helping shape a future where ecological peace becomes the foundation for lasting prosperity and responsible leadership.
