According to a report by Bloomberg News on Thursday, Apple overseas suppliers have ramped production of the company’s new iPad models in preparation for an early May launch.

Delayed Launch Due to Software Finalization:

Initially slated for release in late March or early April, the launch of the new iPads has been postponed as Apple continues to finalize the software for these devices, as per the same report.

The upcoming iPad Pro models are expected to be powered by Apple’s latest M3 chip. Additionally, they will feature redesigned versions of the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil, offering users an enhanced experience.

First Overhaul Since 2018:

This update marks the first major redesign of Apple’s iPad lineup since 2018, signaling significant advancements in both hardware and software.

As reported, the iPad Air is also slated for updates, including a new processor and enhancements to the 12.9-inch screen size.

Apple has yet to reply to requests for comment regarding these developments, as reported by Reuters.

WWDC Announcement and Speculations:

On Tuesday, Apple announced that its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be held from June 10 to June 14. 

Speculation suggests that significant changes to iOS could be unveiled during this event, along with reports of potential AI partnerships.
