Reported Incidents Spark Action:
Following 46 complaints, including reports of crashes, fires, and injuries, the NHTSA’s Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) addresses potential safety hazards associated with the emergency brake malfunction.
The probe focuses on 2019-2022 models of the Honda Insight hybrid electric car and the Honda Passport SUV, where accidental activation of the emergency braking system poses a heightened risk of collisions, injuries, and property damage.
